What is the Digital Transit Card?
The Digital Traffic Card (CDT) is an innovative solution that allows drivers to electronically access documents such as the National Driving License (CNH) and the Vehicle Registration and Licensing Certificate (CRLV).
Through an application available on mobile devices, such as smartphones, it is possible to have quick and secure access to these documents, eliminating the need to carry physical versions.
CDT was developed by National Traffic Deparment (Denatran) in partnership with Serpro, bringing convenience and practicality to drivers, in addition to contributing to the reduction of paper and the modernization of Brazilian traffic.
How to download the CNH Digital app?
To access the Digital Traffic Card (CDT), you need to follow a few simple steps.
First, you need to have a smartphone with an iOS (version 10 or higher) or Android (version 5.0 or higher) operating system.
Then do the app download “Digital Traffic Card” in the application store corresponding to your operating system.
After installing the application, open it and click “Register”. You will be asked to provide your personal data, such as CPF, driver's license number and expiration date.
You will also need to inform the Renavam number of the vehicle registered in your name.
After registration, an activation code will be sent to your email. Enter the code in the application and create an access password.
Once this is done, you will have access to your Digital Transit Card. In the application, it is possible to view the electronic version of the CNH and the Vehicle Registration and Licensing Certificate (CRLV), as well as share these documents digitally when necessary.
It is important to highlight that the CDT is legally valid, that is, it replaces the need to carry a physical driver's license and vehicle document, as long as they are duly updated and valid.
Furthermore, if you have more than one vehicle in your name, you can add all records to the application, facilitating access to all information in one place.
