Although cell phones currently have larger screens, TVs still have their place and provide a more immersive experience for content such as games, films and series.

Check out the list below:

1. WiFi

The simplest ways to send content from your cell phone to your TV are wireless transfer protocols, such as Google Cast and Miracast.

To use, you need to have a Wi-Fi connection and access apps like YouTube and Netflix to watch movies and series on TV with a simple touch.

2. Smart TV: mirror your cell phone screen on your TV

It is possible to use smart TVs from LG and Samsung to achieve complete phone-to-TV mirroring.

3. HDMI cable

This can be done using a converter cable with one end in USB format and the other in HDMI format.

There are two types of compatible cables: MHL and Slim Port.

4. USB cable

If the intention is just to view cell phone files on the TV, the USB cable is a convenient option. Some television models allow direct connection to the telephone, using only the conventional charging cable.

5. Mirror your cell phone screen on your TV with a memory card

Although televisions do not have microSD card slots, you can find them in media centers, such as the Minix Neo U9-H and the Alfawise H96 Pro+.

Just insert the microSD into the slot and watch movies, series and listen to music on the TV.

6. iPhone Screen on TV

Make sure your TV and Apple device (iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch) are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

Open Control Center on iPhone, tap the “Screen Mirroring” button and select the device Apple TV or the desired AirPlay-supporting TV. Enter your passcode if prompted, and your iPhone screen will be mirrored to your TV via AirPlay.

7. Android screen on TV

Check if your smartphone has features like Screen Share or Screen Mirroring, depending on the brand.

Make sure your phone and TV are connected to the same Wi-Fi network, open Android settings, select “Connection and Sharing” and then “Cast screen”.

Choose your TV model and the content will be displayed on the television.

8. Using the Amazon Fire TV Stick to mirror your cell phone screen on your TV

Make sure your phone and Fire TV Stick are connected to the same Wi-Fi network and that your smartphone supports Miracast technology.

Access the Fire TV Stick settings, activate screen mirroring, open the notification panel on your cell phone, select “Smart View” and choose the Fire TV Stick from the list of available devices.

9. Chromecast

O Chromecast from Google can turn any television into a smart TV. To connect your phone and mirror your Android device's screen to your TV, make sure both are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

Open the Google Home app, choose the desired TV and select “Cast Screen”. Cell phone content will be displayed on the TV.

10. Samsung TV

To mirror your cell phone to a TV Samsung, make sure they are both connected to the same Wi-Fi network. On the TV remote, select “Source” and choose “Screen Mirroring”.

On your cell phone, access settings, select “Connections” and choose “Screen Mirroring”. Select the corresponding TV from the list of available devices and wait for mirroring to complete.
