Is Sheglam makeup worth it?

To answer this question, renowned makeup artist and influencer Diucke put the line to the test. 

After testing Shein products, he shares his experience and positive evaluation, endorsing the quality offered by the brand.

Shein, the Chinese fast fashion giant, has won the hearts of generation Z with its vast clothing portfolio. 

Designed to please a young audience, the pieces stand out for being accessible and varied, bringing the brand to unparalleled success.

Shein's greatest asset lies in its ability to intertwine with social networks, especially TikTok and Instagram, key platforms for promoting its products.

I am a big fan of Shein products for their affordability and the tempting promises they offer,” he reveals. He is dedicated to creating successful videos, where he tests the products most requested by his followers.

When it comes to makeup, he believes that skincare items are the most beneficial. “I love Sheglam's pressed powder and loose powder. They really leave the skin looking wonderful and deliver what they promise”, he says enthusiastically.

He has also tried other products, such as the brand's famous sign palette and adhesive eyeliner. Both received his approval.

“It depends on what you are looking for in your makeup, but most products are ideal for those who want to be bold, like the product that creates colorful freckles”, explains the makeup artist, who opted for the color pink to create fake spots on the skin.

He also recommends matte shadows and Peacock glitter. However, he warns that not everything is perfect.

“I wasn't impressed with the primer. I found it very light and it doesn't adapt well to all skin types, as promised. Diversity is crucial in makeup,” he comments.

He notes, however, that the texture of the primer is very similar to that of a Chanel product, which makes it a good option for lighter skin.

He warns that there are products that he does not recommend, such as mascara, stick shadows, shimmers and creams. “They generally have weak pigmentation and little durability.”

“For these items, I suggest investing a little more in products that really offer the desired effect and have greater durability”, concludes Diucke.
