Who is entitled to Pernambuco Aid?

But who is entitled to this assistance? The rules are clear. Firstly, the family must be registered with the Single Registration (CadÚnico) of the Federal Government.
In addition, a document, provided by the local city hall, is required, certifying that the residence suffered material damage due to the rain.
Finally, the family must live in one of the municipalities that have declared an emergency situation and that are included in the Auxílio Pernambuco program.

How to receive assistance?

The distribution of resources is carried out by the municipalities themselves, which use the records and information collected by local teams, especially focused on assisting victims of the recent rains.

Another option is to seek more detailed guidance from Social Assistance Reference Centers (CRAS) or Specialized Social Assistance Reference Centers (CREAS), as well as from Municipal Social Assistance Secretariats.
