President Joe Biden noted Tuesday that he has not visited the U.S.-Mexico border because “there are more important issues going on,” despite traveling to Delaware 59 times and stopping for ice cream eight times before taking office.
Biden defended his decision to stop traveling across the border while in Arizona, telling Fox News White condo correspondent Peter Doocy: “There are more important important issues going on.”
Biden made the hedge as he boarded Marine One to travel to Phoenix ahead of semiconductor maker TSMC's announcement to increase its chip funding in the state to $$40 billion.

White House Assistant Press Secretary Abdullah Hasan told Fox News Digital in a press release that Biden's priority is the economic climate, not the border.
