How much does the school supply card cost?
O cartão de material escolar tem dois valores diferentes, dependendo do nível de ensino. Se você está no ensino médio, o cartão é de algo em torno de R$ 240, mas se você está no fundamental, ele vai para algo em torno de R$ 320.
A diferença é porque, geralmente, no fundamental a lista de material é maior, os professores pedem mais coisas. É importante lembrar que o cartão é pra usar só uma vez e tem que ser renovado no ano seguinte, se precisar. Quem emite esse cartão é o Banco de Brasília.

Conseguir o Cartão Material Escolar (CME) envolve alguns passos importantes, e aqui estão as informações essenciais de uma maneira mais descontraída. Primeiramente, é necessário estar vinculado ao programa Bolsa Família, como já mencionado.
Registration is carried out by the Social Assistance Reference Center (CRAS) in your city. If, by chance, your city does not have a CRAS, don't worry! You can still register directly at city hall.
Now, to register, you need to have some essential documents on hand:
1. Updated proof of income;
2. Voter ID;
3. Identification document with photo (RG, CNH or passport);
4. Updated proof of address;
5. CPF;
