Threats to democracy have increased because the welcome midterm elections for Democratic voters in Wisconsin show a new vote in the state.
A Spectrum news/Sienna college poll of prospective Wisconsin voters found that, once it was decided which candidate to vote for in the fourth quarter, threats to democracy became the primary or secondary concern for 40% of likely Democratic voters in the state, and 30% listed it as their definite difficulty.
The issue has proven itself in some recent polls, after President Biden said that "MAGA Republicans" are "threats to democracy.".
Abortion, which many Democratic candidates focused on in their campaigns after the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, became of real value to Democrats before the midterm elections, and became the most crucial issue for them. Economic issues were the simplest, despite the technical recession.
Independents in key combat states are much more aligned with Republicans than with Democrats.

Nearly 80% of registered Republican voters listed the economic climate as their most critical concern, or the second most vital situation facing Wisconsin, while only 30% felt that threats to democracy were a real issue. Economic considerations were also of adequate difficulty to 65% of likely independent voters in the state, and threats to democracy to 27%.
According to the poll, 411,300 respondents have a good opinion of Wisconsin Lieutenant Governor Mandela Barnes, the Democratic candidate in the Wisconsin Senate race, while 371,300 have a good opinion of incumbent Senator Ron Johnson.

“In a world with unbiased media, none of these races would even be close, Joe Biden wouldn’t be president, and the disaster is Democratic governance, the disastrous consequences of Democratic policies would be so certain that Democrats wouldn’t be in power anymore,” Johnson recently instructed Fox News“ ”American newsroom” on Tuesday regarding the midterm race.
“I suggest, we are seeing how this nation is undergoing a simple transformation. They are ultimately destroying it: whether it’s open borders, a flood of lethal drugs, or 40 years of high inflation, soaring gasoline costs, and rising crime,“ Johnson observed.

The research found that 441,300 of registered Wisconsin voters have a good view of Biden, while the majority, or 521,300, have an unfavorable opinion of him.
The top 291% of Badger State voters support Biden's student mortgage grant, which could cancel up to $1% $20,000 in student debt, while 42% oppose the president's plan.

The Spectrum news/Sienna College poll was conducted from September 14-15, 2022, with a margin of error of plus or minus 4.5 percentage points.
