With Thalía in the main role, the story revolves around a virtuous and modest young woman, whose life changes after the death of her godmother, Cacilda, and her romantic involvement with a rich man.

“Maria do Bairro” is now available for streaming on Globoplay.

3. Marimar

Another production starring Thalía in the 1990s is “Marimar”. This classic plot follows the life of a simple young woman who lives in a small fishing village. 

However, everything changes when she falls in love with Sergio, the son of a wealthy farmer.

“Marimar” is made up of 109 episodes, all accessible on Globoplay for you to enjoy.

4. Empire of Lies

The most recent novelty to enter the Globoplay catalog is “Império de Mentiras”, which introduces us to the lives of Elisa (Angelique Boyer), a young woman from a wealthy family, and Leonardo (Andrés Palacios), a police officer with humble origins. 

Together, they face a forbidden and intense passion, which culminates in the murder of two people close to them.

“Império de Mentiras” is now available on Globoplay with 40 episodes.

The Globoplay streaming service is preparing to launch the soap opera titled “Amar a Morte”. 

This plot revolves around the life of Lucía (played by Angelique Boyer), a woman who chose to marry a millionaire man in the hope of improving her financial situation. 

On the very day of the wedding ceremony, a terrible crime takes place, resulting in the murder of the groom.

And it will also be the turn of “Cair em Temptação” to make its debut, this soap opera presents us with the complex dynamics of two couples and addresses the devastating infidelity that leads to an abrupt rupture in a two-decade marriage in a short space of time.
