NYSBA Launches Project Force on Digital Economy, Web3 and Metaverse, Says Legal Professionals Must Stay 'Ahead of Worries'

Stating that it is important for lawyers to "enter into the considerations" created by the emerging digital economic environment, in addition to the concerns created by each Web 3 and the metaverse, the New York State Bar Association launched a new "Digital Finance and Currency Rising Force Project."“

“The rapid growth of the metaverse/Web3 and the digital economic system present a confluence of considerations for lawyers,” said NYSBA President Sherry Levin Wallach, in an unveiling of information about the newly formed task force.
