The good news reports just keep coming. Here's one among them all. When the Supreme Court struck down Roe v. Wade last June (remember that?), Democrats howled in outrage for weeks. Every hour on MSNBC sounded like a summary of The Handmaid's Tale. Theocracy on the rise! They might as well be burning witches. Liberals gave the impression of being genuinely upset, and no doubt most were, but at some point, now not too far off, the individuals running the Democratic party weren't upset at all. They were very happy.
This ended up becoming a controversial issue for them to compete in the midterm elections. It was an ideally suited argument for a party that had nothing else to focus on. Are they going to brag about Joe Biden? I think not, so it's going to be abortion. They're going to take away their abortions. This became the Democratic message for the midterm elections, the ones that are coming up in just a few days, but there was a problem with the message.
COVID had just ended and people, not being completely stupid, still remember that this same Democratic birthday party, the same Americans, forced all the inhabitants to wear paper masks like children and then take the picture as if it were an outdoor situation. So, girls have the right to control their own bodies? They used to tell us that and then fired a bunch of nurses for refusing to send an experimental vaccine.
The phrase “my physicist, my choice” has, as we say in the information enterprise, been superseded by routine use. Certainly, the Democrats needed a new slogan, a new way to focus on abortion. Sadly, nobody can believe in 1. “Your physicist, my choice?” No, that wouldn’t work. It’s become too real. In the end, the liberals simply dusted off the same historical talking points and pretended that COVID didn’t happen at all. See.

Joy Reid: There are less than three weeks until the midterm elections, and in the final stretch, I've noticed—and I don't know if you've noticed—frankly, the gaslighting of female voters. This message says: “Oh, actually you don't care about the right to manage your own bodies, darlings. It's the economic system, stupid.” You've gotten a media narrative that claims women don't really care about abortion; women basically don't care if states control their bodies. They don't care about that. They simply care about the expense of milk.
Yes, it would be a shame if states bought into managing people's bodies, like telling people what to put on their faces or what drugs they need to be injected with. That would be exactly like the story of The Handmaid's Tale! Theocracy! Then they might be trying to control what you study on social media. Oh wait. It's all very funny and the firstline information is that, for once, such absurd tensions don't seem to be working. Abortion politics is a total fixation of Democratic donors. It's the main thing they care about. Why is that, by the way? Be a faith. It's a child sacrifice cult, but that's not how everyone feels anymore, even Democrats.
As the Daily Caller just reported, polls show that “abortion is not a suitable precedent for female voters.” In fact, “most women support abortion limits that would be considered unconstitutional under the Roe v. Wade precedent.”.
Oh. So, it seems that shouting about abortion really won't be adequate anymore to keep the Democrats in control of Congress. Are you shocked that this helps? No, not anymore. You're living here. How could the incredibly well-paid, and albeit quite intelligent, strategists who figure out what the concerns are within the Democratic Party judge this so poorly?

Well, they did what many of us do. They forgot that not everyone is like them. Not everyone in the US is as miserable as they are. In fact, there are still a variety of Americans in this country, whether you accept it as true or not, who have chuffed marriages. However, there are people who love their children and their grandchildren, but people who agree that babies are a blessing, no longer just an obstacle to better vacations.
Now, some of these Americans, possibly many of these individuals, may still consider themselves “experienced alternative practitioners,” but they are rarely professional abortionists. They don’t consider abortion a good thing. It isn’t. They don’t trust legalization. And they basically don’t see abortion, as Janet Yellen recently stated, as the answer to our national financial problems. She spoke about this.
This is how it works: Janet Yellen gets rich giving speeches for the corporations she regulates. That's corruption, but she certainly isn't charged. She's still free. She's definitely the Secretary of the Treasury. And you too? You get poorer, but we have an answer. You simply deserve to have more abortions. That's what she mentioned. That's the message they might be selling, and perhaps not exceptionally, it doesn't work. That's not what voters need right now. So what do voters want? What do they care about?

Intelligently, if you show up in the polls, they worry about exactly what you expect them to care about, which is the exceptional aspects of their personal lives. They worry about the economic system and they worry about crime. This is very intrusive. You don't even need to analyze the voting to be aware of it, but every ballot indicates it with the highest legibility. How does the media respond to this? Intelligently, from a leadership position, doing their job. They did everything possible to reduce concerns about the economic system and crime.
They warned us that the economic system is not in recession. No, not now. One, of course, through every measure, is terribly very much in a recession. And about crime, they advised you, don't even discuss it. The most skilled racists agonize over crime. Racists! The only aspect you don't want to be associated with.
How can Republicans still respond to this? Well, now we have video evidence. Here's Kari Lake, who's running for governor in Arizona, skillfully dismissing a reporter's statement that, one way or another, people of color enjoy crime. Watch this.
REPORTER: Many people of color feel they are being centered.
KARI LAKE: So many people of color? So many people of color? How many people of color have you talked to about this?
REPORTER: I'm implying, in case you study research.

LAKE: What research? I'm excited to study these statistics because I'll let you know this, I check with people of color. I consult with all Arizonans. They're all concerned about crime. Just because their skin isn't the same color as yours doesn't mean you want your kids walking down the road in a dangerous place. Every Arizonan wants defense and security for their community. It doesn't depend on the color of your skin, and if you look at the statistics, you'll see that the police don't target people of color. It's a lie that's been perpetuated by the left and then spread and spread through the media. Investigate the statistics.
So superb! The reporter cleverly says that people of color are involved in their crime guidelines because, in fact, being a white liberal, all white liberals understand, in the case of acknowledging one aspect, that they have the right to speak of “people of color,” not to Americans of color, which they actually do, but to, on behalf of, individuals of color. Kari Lake stops there. In fact, which individuals of color? All Republicans running for office can still watch this video.
But ultimately, you don't deserve to convince people that crime is real because they live here too. Crime is everywhere.

In Long Island, crime on public transportation has increased by more than 40%, and not just pickpocketing. Now, this video we're about to show isn't necessarily a freak. It just happened to be recorded on tape, but here's exactly why people are afraid to ride the subway. This weekend, a man turned into a push onto the tracks. You can probably guess the reason just by watching this video, but we understand without warning at all. Here it is.
ALEXIS MCADAMS: 32-year-old David Martin fears for his safety after this random attack. He is in physical and emotional pain as he continues to replay this horrific moment captured on camera over and over again. During this video, you can see the man in the yellow hoodie push him directly onto the subway tracks. He focused on the innocent passenger and then attacked him directly. Martin ended up in the sanatorium, only grateful to be alive.
Oh, this random attack. There are many random attacks on the cyber web that you must have noticed as well. They're random? Seriously? The adult who did this isn't being sought as a hate criminal. You wonder why.
However, the point is that these types of assaults didn't used to happen. Now they're moderate enough that you're not shocked by them anymore, but if you live there, you live outside the metro as a result. Crime in Philadelphia is absolutely out of control. For example, last year Philadelphia recorded 562 murders.

This is the highest number of homicides since 1960. That was the year the city began monitoring homicide records. In these 12 months in Philadelphia, crimes such as armed robbery have increased by 47%. Now, why is this happening? Don't be an accident. None of this is an accident. Crime is growing as a direct result of policies designed to increase crime, and at the same time, any effort by ordinary people, middle-class people, to protect themselves is instantly met with the full ferocity of the state. Here is an attempt, by way of course, to destroy the American middle class. Let's be honest about it.
Here, crime is intentional. They don't need to have that dialogue, the people who did it, and that's why they attack you personally and morally if you talk about it. In Philadelphia, many of these crimes can also be attributed to one man, the Soros-backed prosecutor, Larry Krasner. He is now determined not to charge many thieves with crimes. Arrests and expenses for retail theft in Philadelphia have fallen by about 70% in the last four years. In that same period, robbery experiences have jumped by more than 20%. You see how that works?
If you stop accusing Americans of specific crimes, they will commit more crimes. This seems like an obvious observation and, once again, or not, the extra evidence here is no longer an accident. Larry Krasner is not an idiot. None of these people are annoying. They are doing this on purpose. They are trying to mess things up, and why are they doing it? Neatly, we can't guess the purpose, but they are indeed doing it.
When asked about this, how does Larry Krasner respond? Shut up. Racist. See.
Georgia trial will assess the fate of abortion laws.
LARRY KRASNER: We're just taking a look at Philadelphia right now, in a superheated election cycle, where part of the Republican playbook, as you understand it, is to point the finger at various significant cities and say that huge, distinct cities are lawless. What we see here is an identical old playbook, with coded, racist messages. It's about blaming Pennsylvania's largest metropolis with the most diverse population for having the same national struggle that we now have with gun violence everywhere.

Voters are getting very tired of this, so disinterested that even some Democrats have started to basically say maybe voters don't want to be shot, raped, or have their car stolen and then morally attacked if they don't love you.
Kathy Hochul, who is partly responsible for the rise in crime on Long Island, is now working on last-minute announcements promising to combat crime.
Ah, basically, Kathy Hochul, but it's undoubtedly too late for her. She's losing to a Republican in the Big Apple. Pennsylvania is as Democratic as Long Island, but the lieutenant governor who's now running for Senate there, John Fetterman, is also losing for the same reasons, we think. His challenger is Dr. Mehmet Oz.
