This Friday (14), Brazil and China are expected to close around 25 agreements in various areas, in an event that is expected to be one of the main events of the presidential trip to the Asian country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting between President Lula and the President of China, Xi Jinping, is also scheduled for today. Several agreements were announced between the Brazilian Ministry of Finance and its Chinese counterpart to raise funds for works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, cooperation was also signed in the areas of food security, space exploration, health and, mainly, agribusiness. Finally, the BNDES<\/a> is still seeking to obtain a credit line of R$ 1.3 billion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1 \u2013 Trade Facilitation between Brazil and China<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Memorandum for the creation of a working group that aims to promote and facilitate trade between Brazil and China, through the identification and elimination of trade barriers and the promotion of initiatives that facilitate cooperation between the two countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2 \u2013 Complementary Protocol on the Joint Development of CBERS-6<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The objective of this complementary protocol is to establish the conditions for the joint development of CBERS-6, which is a remote sensing satellite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CBERS-6 is a joint project between Brazil and China to develop space technology for peaceful purposes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The agreement establishes the guidelines and conditions for collaboration in the design, manufacture, testing, launch and operation of CBERS-6, as well as in the sharing of data and technologies associated with this satellite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3 \u2013 Facilitation for Research and Innovation<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The objective of this memorandum is to promote and facilitate cooperation between the two countries in research and innovation, through the exchange of information, experiences and technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This agreement establishes the guidelines and conditions for collaboration in priority areas, such as basic science, industrial technology, information technology, biotechnology, energy, environment, health and agriculture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4 \u2013 Cooperation in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The agreement establishes the basis for cooperation in areas such as communication networks, information services, cybersecurity, software, hardware, among other areas related to information and communication technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This memorandum of understanding allows the exchange of information, experiences, knowledge and technologies between Brazil and China<\/a>, with the aim of strengthening cooperation in ICT and promoting the development of both nations in this sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5 \u2013 Promotion of investment and industrial cooperation between Brazil and China<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The agreement lays the foundation for cooperation in areas such as development of industrial parks, cooperation in specific industry sectors, exchange of information on industrial policies and development of joint investment projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This memorandum of understanding allows the exchange of information and experiences between the countries, with the aim of strengthening industrial cooperation between the two countries, promoting economic development and job creation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6 \u2013 Cooperation in the digital economy sector<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The agreement establishes the basis for cooperation in areas such as e-commerce, information and communication technologies, digital innovation, financial technology, among other areas related to the digital economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thus allowing the exchange of information, experiences, knowledge and technologies between Brazil and China, with the aim of strengthening cooperation in investments in the digital economy and promoting the development of both nations in this sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7 \u2013 Cooperation and dialogue in the financial sphere<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The agreement aims to establish a cooperative relationship between Brazil and China to exchange information and experiences in areas such as public financial management, planning and budgeting, tax policies, tax administration, among other areas of mutual interest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8 \u2013 Cooperation in Information and Communications<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The main objective of the agreement is to promote bilateral cooperation in areas such as telecommunications policies, regulation, development of information and communication technologies, communication standards, network infrastructure, cybersecurity, among other areas of mutual interest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9 \u2013 Television Coproduction<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The main objective of the agreement is to foster cooperation and cultural exchange between Brazil and China, in addition to promoting the development of the audiovisual industry and bilateral relations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The agreement provides for the creation of a joint commission to develop and implement co-production projects, in addition to defining the criteria for choosing projects, the form of financing, distribution and exhibition of the content produced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

10 \u2013 Exchange in the media area between the two countries<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The main objective of the agreement is to foster cooperation and exchange in the media area between Brazil and China, in addition to promoting the development of bilateral relations and communication between the two countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The agreement provides for joint activities, such as information exchanges, exchange of experiences, study visits, exchange of TV and radio programs, as well as cooperation in the training of media professionals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
