WASHINGTON, September 21 (Reuters) \u2013 One of the nation's most desirable heads of financial institutions recommended increases in Federal Reserve spending as a method to tame rising inflation, noting that patrons continue to hold on tight, appearing before Congress in a wide range of, and generally quiet, hearings on Wednesday.<\/span><\/p>\n

In testimony before the condominium's financial resources committee, the CEOs also praised its financial strength, its role in distributing billions of dollars in COVID-19 pandemic-related aid, its efforts to increase lending in poorer communities, and the diversity within its ranks.
