Bolsa Família Calendar 2023 August

The transfers for the month of August from the Bolsa Família program are scheduled to be made in the second half of the month.
The schedule indicates that payments will begin on August 18th and end on August 31st. The amounts will be made available according to the last NIS number of each beneficiary.
Below we present the payment dates for the Bolsa Família for the month of August:
- NIS final 1: August 18;
- NIS final 2: August 21;
- NIS final 3: August 22;
- NIS final 4: August 23rd;
- NIS final 5: August 24;
- NIS final 6: August 25th;
- NIS final 7: August 28;
- NIS final 8: August 29;
- NIS final 9: August 30;
- Final NIS 0: August, 31.

The Bolsa Família 2023 Program is made up of six different types of aid, which vary depending on the situation of each beneficiary:
1. Citizenship Income (RC): This is the amount of R$ 142 paid to each family member;
2. Complementary Benefit (BC): An additional amount granted to families that, adding up the benefits received, do not reach the amount of R$ 600, thus ensuring that each family receives at least this amount;
3. Early Childhood (BPI): This is an increase of R$ 150 paid for each child aged between zero and seven years old;
4. Variable Family Assistance (AFV): An increase of R$ 50 granted to pregnant women and young people between 7 and under 18 years of age;
5. Nursing Family Variable (BVN): It is an extra R$ 50 given to each family member up to seven months of age (nursing mother). These transfers will begin in September;
6. Extraordinary Transition Benefit (BET): This benefit is specific to particular cases, aiming to ensure that no one receives less than they received in the previous program (Auxílio Brasil).
O Income Transfer Benefit (BTR) will be granted until May 2025.
In July, the average amount of aid was R$ 684.17, supporting approximately 20.9 million families and reaching a total amount of approximately R$ 14 billion in resources.
Since March, an increase in the minimum income has been established so that families can join Bolsa Família, now including those with income of up to R$ 218 per person. Previously, the poverty limit was up to R$ 210 per person.
To become beneficiaries of Bolsa Família, families must meet certain requirements in the spheres of health and education, such as ensuring the regular presence of children and young people aged between four and 17 at school.
Provide prenatal care for pregnant women, carry out nutritional monitoring (weight and height) of children up to seven years of age and follow the national vaccination calendar.
When enrolling the child at school and taking them to be vaccinated at the health center, it is important to inform them that the family is a beneficiary of Bolsa Família.
