Check out the Bolsa Família calendar for July 2023! Starting this Monday (19), payments for June of Bolsa Família 2023 will begin. A program that was known as Auxílio Brasil in the previous government.
In July, the benefit will be allocated to beneficiaries with a social identification number (NIS) ending in 1. Furthermore, the minimum amount transferred is now R$ 600.00, and can reach up to R$ 900.00 per family.
Finally, there is a bonus of R$ 150.00 for each child up to six years old, limited to two children per family.

Bolsa Família 2023 will make payments between January 18th and December 22nd.
According to information released by the Ministry of Economy, approximately 21.9 million Brazilian families will benefit from the program.
The government will make a total investment of R$ 13.38 billion to ensure this important financial support for families across the country. Below is the Bolsa Família calendar for July 2023:
- End of NIS 1: Payment on July 19, 2023;
- End of NIS 2: Payment on July 20, 2023;
- End of NIS 3: Payment on July 21, 2023;
- End of NIS 4: Payment on July 22, 2023;
- End of NIS 5: Payment on July 23, 2023;
- End of NIS 6: Payment on July 26, 2023;
- End of NIS 7: Payment on July 27, 2023;

In addition to knowing the Bolsa Família calendar for July 2023, you may be wondering what the new value of the benefit is.
As previously mentioned, the value of the Bolsa Família in 2023 was set at R$ 600.00 after the approval of the Transition PEC by the National Congress on December 21, 2022.
This measure gave the budget space to cover these expenses by changing the spending cap rules, which ends up limiting most expenses to the previous year's inflation.
The new approved text includes the following points:
- The Bolsa Família payment in 2023 will be R$ 600.00 (the Bolsonaro government's proposal was to pay R$ 405.00).
- An additional R$ 150.00 will be paid per child up to seven years old.
- The minimum wage will be set at R$ 1,320.00 in 2023 (the Bolsonaro government's proposal was R$ 1,302.00).
New Bolsa Família rules and prerequisites for 2023
Finally, in addition to the July 2023 calendar and the new values, the Federal Government also released the new rules for Bolsa Família. Check the information:
- The maximum income to receive the benefit increased from R$ 210 to R$ 218 per person in the family;
- Previously, the benefit was valid for 12 months, now it will be valid for 24;
- The maximum income that a family can have while participating in the program has increased from R$ 525 (poverty line) to up to R$ 651 per person;
- The extra benefit intended for children up to 3 years old will now be paid for children up to 7 years old;
- There will be no further reduction in the benefit if the family starts to receive permanent benefits from the INSS or BPC (Continuous Payment Benefit);
- In addition, families will be able to receive the benefit through a digital savings account.
These changes aim to expand the scope and program benefits Bolsa Família, offering greater financial support and more opportunities for families in vulnerable situations.
