The scheme is simple: connect! If you don't have a Caixa account, just go to a branch with your citizen card and identification document.
Now, if you already have an account at Caixa, the benefits go directly there, without needing a citizen card.

How to request the Citizen Card?
Find out how to request the first copy of your Citizen Card easily and quickly, without complications.
If you are already registered with Caixa Econômica and just need the card, you can go to a physical branch in person. Take your Original ID, CPF, proof of residence and NIS number.
The Caixa attendant will order your card and you can choose a password right away.
But, if you prefer practicality, you can request the Citizen Card without leaving home. Just call the number 0800 726 0207, select option 5 and follow the instructions for the “Bolsa Família Card or Social Card and password”.
Choose the “Social Card” option, provide your CPF and other personal data to confirm your identity.
The attendant will guide you through the process, providing all the information necessary to get your card. That simple!
Is it possible to request a 2nd copy?
Lost your card and need a duplicate? Relax, Caixa can fix this! If you still have payments to make, just request a new card.
Now, if you have already paid off all the installments, as in the case of Unemployment Insurance, then it gets complicated, there is no point in asking for another one.
But don't worry, if your benefit is still active, just call the same number as always: 0800 726 0207. Press the 1, speak to an attendant and explain your situation. That simple!

If you already have a Savings or Current account at Caixa, you can request to receive your benefits directly into that account.
