How does access to the Brasil Carinhoso program work?
Brasil Carinhoso operates in a simple and efficient way, guaranteeing the automatic transfer of financial resources to municipalities and the Federal District, without the need for complicated agreements.
The allocated amount is divided into two payment installments.
The total amount is calculated based on 50% of the minimum annual value per enrollment in public daycare centers, whether linked to the federal government on a full or part-time basis.
Fundeb (Fund for Maintenance and Development of Basic Education and Valorization of Education Professionals) has a crucial role, defining the amount before the transfer.
This definition is possible thanks to the precise control that the institution has over educational data and students enrolled in the public network who seek or need some type of educational support.
Areas Responsible for the Program
When it comes to program management, the Ministry of Social Development plays a crucial role.
It not only defines public policy, but also establishes criteria and guidelines that guide the entire program.
INEP/MEC is responsible for consolidating the data collected in the school census. This information is essential for calculating the amounts to be transferred to federated entities, thus contributing to more efficient management.
As for FNDE/MEC, it is up to it to execute public policy through the transfer of resources within the program.
Furthermore, the body assumes responsibility for accountability on the part of those involved, ensuring transparency and effectiveness in the use of resources.
How to calculate program receipt?
The benefits of the Brasil Carinhoso Program are calculated taking into account the monthly income of each family.
Although it varies depending on the situation of each household, the program establishes a base value of R$ 32. This specific amount is defined after an analysis of family characteristics.
Once approved, the amount of the Affectionate Brazil is added to the amount received by Bolsa Família, allowing beneficiaries to receive both payments on the same date.

How to register?

To start registration, the head of the family, preferably a woman, must be at least 16 years old, be part of the family and live in the same house.
It is important that you have your CPF or Voter ID card on hand to present during the process.
As for other family members, it is necessary to have at least one of the following documents on hand:
1. Birth Certificate;
2. Identity Card (RG);
3. CPF;
4. Marriage Certificate;
5. Work Card;
6. Voter ID;
7. Indigenous Administrative Birth Certificate-RANI (exclusively for indigenous families).
Although proof of address is not mandatory, it is advisable to bring it with you to facilitate address registration.
